TR System

The TR System is used in situations where high strength and insulation is necessary.  The TR System is similar to the STR system, except that the entire wall cavity is filled with cellular plastic.  As with the STR system this product is intended for areas of limited access or load requirements.  The TR System provides exceptional load capacity by providing a highly adhesive bond to the wall, substantial lateral bracing for reinforcing studs and is highly insulated.

The TR system provides resistance to both out-of-plane and in-plane wall loads.

• High insulation values for sound reduction or thermal properties (R28 insulation value minimum)
• May be used in shear wall applications
• May be constructed in locations of limited access
• The foam product is code compliant and does not contain CFC blowing agents or other ODS
• Excellent flame spread and smoke density properties.  The IC type foam, tested to ASTM E-108 has a flame spread rating of less than 75 and a smoke density rating of less than 350.
• Walls are designed to have a deflection limitation of 1/600 of the span or to other deflection limits deemed appropriate by the engineer of record.
